This webpage is meant to inform you of upcoming Parks, Recreation and Facilities efforts to start design and planning work for playground renovations at the Lyseth community school playground. This process will incorporate public feedback on the current playground conditions and uses in order to prioritize opportunities for equipment upgrades, play area changes, and get feedback on important playground elements.
In terms of our project timeline, we have several calendar and scheduling constraints to navigate. If design, planning review, permitting and bidding are successful, construction could begin as early as late summer. If additional refinements are necessary, construction would likely shift into early summer of 2022 during school vacation.
We have created a survey to gather the communities input on this project, you can take the survey by clicking here, the survey is also located at the bottom of this page Your feedback will be tremendously valuable as we move forward in renovations. We will be hosting a Virtual Public Forum on March 25th, 2021, from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. At this meeting we will go over the results of the survey.
