The Maine Tobacco-Free College Network provides technical assistance to college administrators, health centers, and student advocacy groups in order to create tobacco-free campuses and promote tobacco-free lifestyles. This includes the promotion of best practice policies that restrict tobacco use on the campuses of higher learning institutions, educating students, and staff on the health effects of tobacco use and ensuring that post-secondary campuses have the tools to assist, students, faculty, and staff in quitting tobacco.
Maine Tobacco-Free Hospital Network
The Maine Tobacco-Free Hospital Network provides technical assistance to hospitals and health care facilities in addressing tobacco-free policies and cessation on their campuses. This includes the promotion of best practice policies that include the banning of tobacco use on hospital property, support to clients and staff in quitting and supporting tobacco-free living within the communities they serve.
