Follow us. The City uses these social channels to connect with citizens and visitors, share important news updates from the City, and spread the word about all the great things happening in Portland. 

Choose the right channel for your social media habits, or follow us on all three!

Facebook
We typically post 1-2 times a day on Facebook letting citizens know about important public meetings, events, City news, winter parking bans, photos of our great city, and community events. We also respond to constituent issues Monday - Friday during City Hall hours (and after-hours during emergency events.) 

Twitter

While you'll find most of the same content from our Facebook page on Twitter, we use Twitter for real-time news and information, posting frequently throughout the day with #PortlandME to keep you in the know on traffic alerts, construction updates, parking bans, and public safety notices. We also respond to constituent issues Monday - Friday during City Hall hours (and after-hours during emergency events.) 

Instagram

Our Instagram shows off our beautiful city, most times no filter needed! While we will post occasionally about voting information and winter parking ban notices, we typically only post 1-2 times a week.
