Portland Public Health Division Celebrates National Public Health Week!

The American Public Health Association has declared April 2-8, 2018 National Public Health Week, with the theme Healthiest Nation 2030: Changing Our Future Together.

Each day of the week, Portland’s Public Health programs & services will be highlighted to showcase the work we do in the community.


Monday, April 2: Substance Use Prevention

Tuesday, April 3: Learn About Ways to Prevent Disease Transmission

Wednesday, April 4: Healthy Homes and Healthy Environments

Thursday, April 5: Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Violence Prevention

Friday, April 6: Everyone Has the Right to A Healthy Life


On Friday, April 6, staff members will be on hand in Monument Square from 11am-1pm promoting the work of the Public Health Division – stop by and check us out!
