New Development Review Project - 148 State Street

To residents and property owners: NewHeight Redfern, LLC has submitted a Zoning Map and Text Amendment application to facilitate the rezoning of 148, 120, and 102 State Street from R-6 Residential to B-3 Downtown Business, along with changes to the Downtown Height Overlay Map to allow 85 feet of height along the State Street frontage and 45 feet of height along the Winter Street frontage. The proposed text amendment would also expand the uses permitted within the B-3 zone and would add on-site active shared spaces as a conditional use within the B-3 zone.  In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Zoning Amendments application must be sent to property owners within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located within an Industrial Zone). You will be notified of future Planning Board meetings by receiving notices from the Planning Division prior to any workshops or public hearings.

Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov.
