For auto registrations, you must have an appointment. For birth, death, and marriage certificates, plus elections and voting info, the Clerk's Office is serving walk-ins. See below for Parking Office information.

Please see the link below to make an appointment for auto registrations. Due to the high demand, appointments are booking out a month in advance. However, you should check the site often as we do try to open new time slots as staffing and appointments allow.

For birth, death, and marriage certificates/ceremonies, plus dog licenses and elections and voting info, the Clerk's Office is serving walk-ins from Room 24, which can be accessed from the Myrtle Street entrance.

To pay a parking ticket or obtain a residential parking permit, please visit the Myrtle Street entrance of City Hall to visit our Parking Office. For any questions, please call 207-874-8443 or email them at parking@portlandmaine.gov.

All other departments continue to serve customers via phone, email, mail, and virtual meetings during this time. Please call or email the department you need service from for assistance.
