City Launches "Ask the Zoning Staff" Appointments on Thursdays at City Hall

ask the zoning staff

Starting on March 14, the City of Portland’s Permitting and Inspections Department will offer the opportunity for customers to meet with a Zoning Staff member for 30 minutes to ask questions. Appointments are available from 9 AM to 12 PM every Thursday morning. The meetings are scheduled by appointment only. To request a meeting, please fill out the Zoning Meeting Request form and email it to zoning@portlandmaine.gov along with any documents or drawings that relate to the project.

Questions should be related to the zoning requirements for a specific proposed project or a specific permit application that is currently in review in the permitting process.  Documents and drawings submitted ahead of time will allow for a more productive meeting.
