Nine Newest Portland Firefighters Set to Graduate June 29, 2019

 The Portland Fire Department is hosting a Fire Academy Graduation for the nine newest members of the Portland Fire Department. 

The graduates include: 

Austin Cantara of Biddeford, Adam Capponi of Gorham, Bartley Foley of Portland, Andrew Halchak of Tarrytown, NY, Molly Hillman of Fairfield, Jonathan Hamilton-Jones of Saco, Nathaniel Keller of Bath, Nathan Kinney of South Portland, and Randy Nadeau of Rochester, NH. 

Their graduation follows a rigorous eight week advanced fire training drill school. Effective 0800hrs on July 4th, the graduating recruits will become part of normal staffing remaining on their respective platoons assigned to the pool coverage and will be assigned to EMS Field Training over the next six months. The new graduates will receive their Portland Fire department badge which will be pinned by their chosen loved, a longstanding Department tradition.

WHEN:  Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM. 

WHERE: Merrill Rehearsal Hall, 20 Myrtle Street, Portland.
