Woodford Street Sewer Separation Project – NOTICE OF PAVING

Paving within the project limits on Woodford Street (Forest Avenue to Clifton Street) is currently scheduled for Wednesday, September 4th, 2019.  In the event of inclement weather in the days prior to the paving, the schedule may be pushed back as any weather system affects the regional paving schedule.  If this is the case, please make sure to read any changes to the signs posted on the street and refer to the City’s Public Works website.

“No Parking” signs will be posted the entire length of the street for “No Parking” from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  It is the intent to pave the entire street.  You will be towed if your car is on the street.  You will also not have easy access to your driveways.  After pavement is placed, it needs to be rolled and cooled before cars will be allowed on it.  The paving machine is a moving target and we cannot tell you exactly at what time your driveway will be impacted but you may be asked to wait for approximately 15 minutes before you are allowed to cross the pavement from your driveway.

We ask that you observe and respect the flaggers and any traffic directional changes as we progress.  Traffic will be detoured around the project limits by flaggers for the day.

If you have any questions please contact Brad Roland, P.E., Senior Project Engineer at 874-8840.
