FINAL PAVING FOR PREBLE STREET

On Monday, July 13, 2020, through July 17, 2020, final paving work for the Preble Street Sewer Separation Project will occur.  This work includes Kennebec Street, and the cross streets; Somerset Street, Lancaster Street, Oxford Street, Portland Street, Hanover Street, Parris Street and Brattle Street.  

Paving work will begin with placement of a base course on Kennebec Street extending from Forest Avenue to Preble Street.

Milling of Preble Street from Cumberland Avenue to Congress Street will begin on or about Wednesday, July 15th followed by milling of Preble Street from Marginal Way to Somerset Street.

Final paving of Preble Street will begin at Marginal Way and extend to Congress Street.

During the milling and paving process Preble Street will be closed.
